Turkish Airlines has released a new flight safety video - cast entirely with Lego characters. The clip, which was put together by a team of 16 over nearly a thousand days and requiring almost three million Lego bricks, is expected to be the first in a series.
The airline has teamed up with Warner Bros and Lego The Movie ahead of the franchise’s second outing.
Covering everything from how to fasten seat belts to putting on oxygen masks, passengers will spot cameos from Batman and Superman, among others, during the four-minute clip.
The safety video is the first in what is expected to be a series of ditties after the airline said it marked the start of the “biggest partnership with the smallest cast”.
It took a team of 16 featuring two concept artists, three layout artists, seven animators and four lighting technicians to bring it to fruition over nearly 1,000 days, requiring 2,938,840 Lego bricks.
