Ambassador Cruise Line has appointed agent Carly Bowkett as its new business development manager and named another new addition to its trade team.
Bowkett will assume responsibility for trade relations in the north of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland, reporting into divisional sales manager Karen Cameron.
She joins Ambassador from Protected Travel Shop where she managed the agency’s Fleetwood branch in Lancashire. She is also a former Thomas Cook agent.
Cameron said Bowkett’s arrival would ensure the line’s relationships with agents in the north “go from strength to strength”.
“She is a confident, outgoing and enthusiastic addition to the team, and this will only benefit the brand as we look to continue providing our valued agent partners with all the support and tools they need,” Cameron added.
Meanwhile, Audra Garner will also be joining the Ambassador trade team as trade support assistant from 2 April.
Garner, who like Bowkett is a former Thomas Cook agent, joins the team from a contact centre role with the line, bringing “several years” cruise industry experience. She will report into trade support manager Beth Baker.
