Celestyal has recruited former Virgin Voyages’ international marketing activation and event executive Sebastien Pelisse as trade marketing executive.
In his new role, Pelisse will focus on working with the trade in the UK and Australia to boost awareness of Celestyal’s brand, products, fleet, destinations, service and offers.
Pelisse, who has previously worked in customer service teams at easyJet and British Airways, will report into Anna Gregori, vice-president, brand, marketing, communications and customer journey.
Celestyal now has an 11-strong dedicated trade team, with further recruitment planned.
The team is headed up by Janet Parton, vice-president business development, UK, Europe and Australia.
Pelisse said: “I am ecstatic to be joining Celestyal and contributing to their global brand development.
“Within this role I aim to support, educate and collaborate with the trade as Celestyal continues its exciting growth.
“I am looking forward to bringing my broad network of contacts, knowledge of global markets and cultures as well as travel knowledge to help Celestyal continue to become a significant force within the cruise sector.”
Gregori highlighted Pelisse’s “passion for cruise, travel and trade”, saying: “[This is] a perfect combination that brings with it a valuable customer focus and frontline travel industry perspective.”
She added: “Seb is looking to make our brand sizzle with our valued trade partners. We’re looking forward to seeing his passion translate into creating unmissable moments for our agent partners, and bringing the refreshed Celestyal brand and direction to life.”
