P&O Cruises’ Britannia ship has set sail from Southampton following a multi-million-pound makeover which included a refreshed colour palette in the public spaces and extension of the Loyalty and Cruise Sales area.
The onboard refresh come ahead of Britannia’s 10th anniversary cruise around the British Isles on 6 June 2025.
The line confirmed design aspects on 5,200-passenger ships Iona and Arvia have been introduced on Britannia.
The Sunset Bar has a “new warm colour scheme” and additional seating has been added, P&O Cruises added.
Britannia’s Market Café space has also been enhanced and the dining choices have been expanded.
P&O Cruises president Paul Ludlow said: “Britannia is our flagship, and with her 10th anniversary celebration cruise next summer we know the importance of ensuring the ship looks its absolute best to deliver an elevated experience for our new and loyal guests.”
Travel agents have three opportunities to experience the revamped Britannia ship during the line’s 2024 ship visit programme.
Agents invited on one of the ship visits can take a tour of the cabins, entertainment venues and dining areas, plus have a three-course meal in one of the restaurants on Britannia.
