EasyJet has launched a host of new routes, with an Italian favourite and its first sub-Saharan Africa destination among 21 new UK services planned for summer 2025.
A new service from Gatwick to Rimini, a beach destination, will operate twice a week from 16 April.
In addition, flights and easyJet holidays packages will be offered from Gatwick to Sal in Cape Verde from 31 March 2025, with packages leading in from £679pp.
Natasha Marson, easyJet holidays’ head of trade distribution, said: “Sal is a fantastic island with so much to offer, including year-round sunshine, so we’re confident it’s going to be a huge success with our travel agent partners and their customers.
“We have a fantastic range of hotels on offer, so whether it’s a family with young children, or a couple looking for a romantic getaway, we’re delighted to offer something for everyone.”
EasyJet is also growing its network at Luton, where Jet2.com will set up a new base next summer, with routes to the Andalusian capital Almeria and Portugal’s Madeira.
In addition, five new routes are now on sale from Manchester to Izmir, Kalamata, Larnaca, Madrid and Rome.
Meanwhile, the network at easyJet’s newest UK base at Birmingham airport continues to grow with the addition of two new services to Gran Canaria and Malta.
The airline will also now offer Malaga and Palma from Leeds Bradford airport.
In Scotland, new flights to Enfidha in Tunisia and Marrakech will run from Edinburgh next summer for the first time, alongside flights to Olbia on Sardinia, while Glasgow will gain services to Antalya and Reus.
Reus will also be served by a twice-weekly service from Belfast International.
