Culture club. Discovering people and places of the world at WTM London 2023.
Yesterday’s reveal of the WTM Global Travel Report findings shone a light on the risk factors affecting the future of our industry, including high jet fuel prices and environmental changes – and yet the positivity felt at ExCeL cannot be dampened.
Adaptability and resilience have become travel’s strong suits over the past four years and today’s conference sessions are designed to help the industry navigate any challenges that could be thrown at them in 2024. Inflation, War, and Societal Collapse... What’s Next for the World’s Economies and Can Travel Evolve? is just one session supporting this mission.
Meanwhile, TTG Media CEO Daniel Pearce will “address adversity” during WTM London’s first Diversity & Inclusion Summit (p18) and the hot topic of how to counter greenwashing will be discussed on the Innovate Stage (p16-17). In the technology space, Inspiretec is launching its new travel agent booking platform (p24-25).
The TTG Media team are going from stand to stand gathering the latest to inform you in the news pages of tomorrow’s Official Event Daily magazine and at ttgmedia.com/wtm.
As well as news “live” from the show floor, this Tuesday edition of the magazine contains focuses on destinations spanning Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas, as well as on two brand-new areas of the show floor: Accommodation and Wholesalers (p44), and Experiences (p46). So make sure you explore ExCeL far and wide today, as there’s lots to be learnt and plenty of connections to be made!
