Hidden beneath the streets of busy Marble Arch is London’s latest immersive art experience. In fact, the largest of its kind in the UK. As visitors wander the 30,000sq ft venue, they interact with waves of 40 digital interpretations of masterpieces by 28 artists in four themed galleries.
Artworks are projected all around with specially composed soundtracks enhancing the experience – some of the elements are even triggered by visitors themselves as they move around.
Caneletto’s Piazza Di San Marco in Venice comes to life to rousing classical music; or watch as elements of Yellow, Red, Blue by Wassily Kandinsky bounce around to jazz. After all that, there’s a gift shop and cafe, where visitors can try an art-inspired afternoon tea.
Book it: Frameless (6 Marble Arch, London W1H 7AP, frameless.com) is open daily. Adult tickets start at £25 (child, £15; under-fives, free) and are commissionable rates. For trade bookings, email travel@frameless.com
