Finding the perfect moment to propose can be stressful for clients. Agents can ease the pressure with a selection of pre-packaged experiences, providing ample opportunity to pop the question
With majestic views from the top of Nusa Dua cliff, the location of the newly opened Apurva Kempinski in Bali makes it perfect for a proposal.
“When selling the hotel, agents should highlight its Koral Restaurant, Bali’s first aquarium restaurant. It offers guests the once-in-a-lifetime experience of dining underwater, making it the perfect spot for a proposal,” says Kathryn Whitnall, assistant product manager for Asia at Gold Medal.
Clients can also enjoy private in-villa pools, open-kitchen Japanese dining at Izakaya by Oku or a show at the open-air theatre during their stay.
BOOK IT: Seven nights at The Apurva Kempinski Bali on a B&B basis is priced from £1,339pp including flights, transfers and a set lunch or dinner at Pala Restaurant. Valid for travel from 11 to 18 May 2020.
This Lake Como hotel has recently launched its dimmidisi dinners – translating as “say yes” in Italian – located in its neighbouring 18th-century neoclassical private villa, Villa Sola Cabiati.
“Couples can enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner in the Frescoes Room overlooking Lake Como, where the question can be popped against the backdrop of beautifully painted ceilings featuring frescoes,” says Sabrina Ahmed, sales manager at the hotel.
Clients have several other proposal options, including dinner set-ups in-suite, by the lake, inside the palace or in the gardens. A photographer, music and flowers can also be arranged.
BOOK IT: Grand Hotel Tremezzo in Lake Como is priced from £441 per room per night based on two sharing a Park View Prestige Room on a B&B basis. The dimmidisi package is priced at around £2,139 per couple.
