The View at The Palm, a new public observatory at the top of The Palm Tower, has opened.
Located 240 metres above the iconic Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, the 52nd-floor viewing platform offers panoramas over the emirate.

W Abu Dhabi Yas Island has opened, perched on top of a Grand Prix racetrack. Located 15 minutes from Abu Dhabi International airport, it is also close to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Warner Brothers World Abu Dhabi and the Yas Mall.

EasyJet has doubled the number of flights from Gatwick to Aqaba, which will operate on a winter seasonal schedule twice a week until 28 March 2020.

Dubai Expo will open on 20 October in 2020. Emirates Holidays is offering a three-night stay at the Hyatt Regency Dubai in a standard room priced from £995pp including flights and one day complimentary access to the expo.

The St Regis Amman has opened in Jordan’s capital. The hotel features 270 guest rooms, four restaurants, a cafe, pool spa and St Regis’ Butler service.
