Barut Hotels is updating a number of its properties and supporting local initiatives this year
With 50 years of experience and 13 chic properties across the Turkish region of Antalya and in Fethiye, Mugla, Barut Hotels is well positioned to provide your clients with their dream holiday in the Mediterranean. Bookable through the likes of Jet2holidays and Tui, Barut destinations are celebrating some exciting developments this year.
Lara Barut Collection in Kundu, Antalya, is reopening after significant investment in improving the guest experience. A brand-new Lagoon Area offers swim-up rooms and suites equipped with a Jacuzzi and a Turkish Bath; each with privacy provided by palm trees and lush greenery. Refurbished rooms have enhanced sound insulation and larger beds so guests can enjoy a silent night’s sleep. The renovation has also added a new water park perfect for thrill seekers and seen the upgrade of Tirmis, Hungry Gorilla and Turunç – three of the hotel’s nine a la carte restaurants and cafes.
Meanwhile, the renovations at Arum Barut Collection near Side continue. Last year’s addition of a new pier and bar was popular amongst guests, with a refreshed fitness centre and updates at Begonya Beach Club and Bonsai Restaurant to follow. All menus will see a shake up.
Barut B Suites, which is a group of apartments popular with families and groups of friends just along the bay at Side, is undergoing a sea change too. Rooms, bars and restaurants are being revamped, the spa is now more spacious with a new sauna, and the Bary Star kids’ club has a brand-new look.
Barut Hotels doesn’t just ensure its guests are exceptionally well looked after, it ensures its surrounding areas and the environment are cared for and respected too. Last year the group sponsored archaeological excavations at an ancient site and tourist attraction in Side, and it will continue to do so in 2022 to demonstrate its commitment to protecting Turkish heritage and culture.
Then, last month Barut Hotels’ Akra brand supported The Tour of Antalya, an annual four-day cycling race that welcomed 161 athletes from 13 countries. This year’s event was in aid of climate change awareness – a cause Barut Hotels is particularly passionate about.
When guests stay at a Barut Hotels property, they can relax in a beach cabana, swim in a glistening pool and dine on fine cuisine knowing their hosts have both their needs and the environment’s needs in mind.
