Leading Mediterranean hotel group Barut Hotels has been welcoming holidaymakers for more than 50 years, and continues to grow and invest.
Barut Hotels has an enviable portfolio of beachside resorts, city-based properties and villas, all effortlessly blending the sea, sun and high-class entertainment. The family-owned company launched in Side in 1971, and today is one of the fastest growing hotel groups in Turkiye, with several properties along the coast and more than 2,000 employees.
The ambitious group continues to grow rapidly, and is constantly developing innovative approaches and ideas to ensure guests receive the top products and services.
In summer 2024, Barut Hotels will open the Anda Barut Collection in Didim, a town in the Aegean region that’s famed for its history and crystal-clear bays. As with all Barut Hotels properties it will boast impressive artwork, large lush gardens and spacious landscaped areas. Overlooking the ocean, the eye-catching hotel will cleverly combine modern architecture with nature, blending indoor and outdoor spaces. Expect a range of unique villas, serene rooms and inviting pools, with the resort providing easy access to various historical sites.
Work has also been undertaken at the Arum Barut Collection in Side, where a new experience awaits guests. Public spaces have been renovated, with the modern interiors now showcasing energising and dynamic colours. The 50 elegant suites have all been refreshed, promising guests a stylish, modern and comfortable stay, and 300 further rooms will be renovated this winter. The property will celebrate the hallmarks of Barut Hotels’ distinctive style, with soft cotton bed linen, chic lighting and unique Mediterranean views.
Plus, customers travelling with four-legged friends can visit Barut Hemera in Side, which now welcomes pets.
Surrounded by some of Turkiye’s incredible ancient sites, cultural heritage is vitally important for Barut Hotels. The group has sponsored the ongoing excavations in the ancient city of Side, which is one of the Mediterranean’s most important historic port and trade cities. Clients are invited to visit the site as part of Barut Hotel’s cultural programme.
The group channels its environmental efforts through its We Care Environmental Awareness project, which launched in 2019 and gathers together numerous long-running initiatives. It also runs the We Care All project, which focuses on fighting climate change and highlighting the unconscious consumption of natural and underground resources.
Two of the group’s properties, Acanthus Cennet Barut Collection and Lara Barut Collection, are now powered by green energy, becoming the first green energy certified hotels in the Mediterranean region of Turkiye.
With its ambitious plans for the future, Barut Hotels aims to grow while respecting nature, celebrating culture and delivering premium experiences.
