Bamford to launch doctor-led private members’ wellness club

The new concept will be located on the Daylesford farm in the Cotswolds, which already offers the Bamford Wellness Spa.

The Club by Bamford is described as offering “contemporary health and fitness practices designed to enhance physical health and sharpen mental agility.”

The Club by Bamford has partnered with medical specialists the Effect Doctors to offer “doctor-led health optimisation services”, and all members are offered an assessment, including a full body and blood analysis.

Guests can choose from an extensive menu of fitness classes, a 340-square-metre gym overlooking the Cotswolds countryside, a studio for spin and holistic classes and a 25-metre indoor pool made from recycled stainless-steel and heated by a biomass boiler. 

The Spring features a sauna, steam room, experience shower, ice barrels, indoor ice bath, outdoor infra-red sauna and heated outdoor plunge pool. Guests can also use the cryotherapy chamber and book red light therapy, which are described as helping “accelerate recovery, reduce pain and inflammation, promote sleep and instantly improve your overall wellbeing.”

There is also an outdoor training space offering “farm fitness”, including tyre flipping, rope climbing, Olympic lifting, skiErg and padel tennis.

Facilities include The Nest restaurant, with an all-electric kitchen powered using renewable energy, some of which will be generated from the solar panels on the roof of the building. The open air Bramley Terrace is designed as a space to dine and work

Membership starts from £325 per month and members have access to the Bamford Wellness Spa.
