Caribtours appoints Elaine Jones to newly created UK trade sales manager role
Caribtours has appointed Elaine Jones to a newly created UK trade sales manager role.
An industry veteran bringing more than three decades’ experience in the luxury travel sector to her new post with Caribtours, Jones is tasked with helping the specialist generate more new business from luxury agents.
Jones will be based in the north-west and report into Caribtours head of sales Rebecca Bryson.
“Elaine has a wealth of experience in luxury travel spanning 30 years – having previously held roles in both hotel representation and luxury tour operating,” said Caribtours chief executive Paul Cleary.
Cleary added: “She has extensive knowledge of the Caribtours portfolio and enjoys excellent relationships with the trade – a winning combination.”
Over the past 30 years, Jones has held a variety of positions – including sales and marketing representative at hotel representation company Bespoke Earth and national sales manager at ITC Travel Group.
Jones’s appointment comes two months after the specialist tour operator launched its Just Slovenia brand to the trade.
