Private jet touring firm Colonial Expeditions has changed its name to Journeys By Jet with plans to run trips from both the UK and North America.
The Cheshire-based company said it had become part of the Cocoon Travel Group and would be “aligning our brands on both sides of the pond”.
“Going forward, we will be adopting the Journeys By Jet brand for all our Private Jet Expeditions as well as a number of exciting new initiatives,” said the company’s founders in a statement.
“Our first Private Jet Expeditions from London that retrace past journeys are still scheduled to depart in 2020 and we are currently working on a number of new departures from North America.
“Our team and contact information remain the same and our head office remains in beautiful Cheshire in the UK.”
The company, which also has an office in New York, will operate private jet tours “retracing colonial routes”, including trips from London to Cape Town, priced from £36,695pp,and London to Sydney, following the old “Kangaroo Route”, priced from £40,500pp.
In another move, Journeys by Jet announced it has joined the Travel Trust Association (TTA) so it can offer clients “100% financial protection”.
