COMO Hotels and Resorts will open its first hotel in its home country of Singapore this September, bringing together COMO Group’s hospitality, fashion, wellness and dining offerings under one roof.
The COMO Metropolitan Singapore will offer 156 rooms spread across 11 floors, alongside a rooftop pool bar. It will be located within COMO Orchard, the brand’s newest immersive experience building.
The hotel will be the first space to open in COMO Orchard, a 19-floor building located on Singapore’s Bideford Road.
It will also house the 9,000-square-foot COMO Shambhala wellness facility, two floors of fashion retail and three dining venues. Michelin-starred New York and Miami Korean steakhouse COTE by restaurateur Simon Kim will open its first international location, while COMO Cuisine will offer all-day dining classics and Singaporean favourites, and healthy fare will be available from COMO Shambhala Cuisine. French pastry chef Cedric Grolet will make his Asia debut with a pastry shop on the first floor.
The design of COMO Orchard has been led by Italian architect Paola Navone (Otto Studio), Japanese interior design-consultant Koichiro Ikebuchi (Atelier Ikebuchi), American-Thai interior designer Preeti Sriratana (Modellus Novus) and Norwegian digital artist Thomas Hilland.
