Day of Luxury will kick off on 17 October with meetings between suppliers and agents, before moving onto a conference set to inspire delegates with a mix of insight and inspiration.
First launched as a joint event in 2023, Day of Luxury combines Luxpo and the TTG Luxury Travel Summit in association with the Spanish Tourist Office, and is set to bring the luxury sector together as it returns to Kimpton Fitzroy in London.
The day will start with Luxpo, where 15 hand-picked agents will take part in one-to-one meetings with 15 luxury-focused suppliers in the hotel’s Palm Court.
Participating partners include Abercrombie & Kent, Brennia Kottefaru Maldives, Explora Journeys, Red Savannah, Seibu Prince Hotels & Resorts, Silversea, Spanish Tourist Office, Tenerife Tourism Corporation, The Lux Collective, Tourism Ireland, Visit Finland and World of Hyatt.
The TTG Luxury Travel Summit in association with the Spanish Tourist Office follows in the afternoon under the 2024 theme of What Now for Luxury Travel?
Also featuring Carrier as co-partner, the conference will bring tour operators, travel advisors and experienced hospitality leaders to the stage, along with sustainability, branding and destination innovators to discuss issues facing the sector.
The Insight Partner for the event will be Stylus, an expert source for global trends, and set to deliver the keynote presentation will be Dr Antonia Ward, Stylus’ chief futurist, who will bring her wealth of knowledge to the stage.
In her session – The Futurist’s Lens: Ten Trends Transforming Tomorrow’s Luxury Travel – Dr Ward will share an authoritative view on what’s shaping the luxury traveller demands of the future. She will look at everything from evolving airline and cruise experiences, to exploring how hotels are anticipating the next trends in food and beverage, as well as unpacking global examples of new and niche luxury travel brands, spaces and services.
As well as showcasing early evidence of emerging trends, Stylus will offer actionable insights for 2025 and beyond, enabling travel professionals to be thinking ahead for future success.
“As the industry settles into the new normal of operating in a landscape of global volatility and uncertainty – what are customers going to be looking for and how can travel brands deliver and exceed expectations? This and much more will be on the agenda at our leading-edge annual conference,” said April Hutchinson, editor and publisher of TTG Luxury.
“Once again, we will bring insight, connection and inspiration to our audience, and I’m thrilled to partner with Stylus, which is known for its relentless curiosity for what’s new and what’s next.”
Early-bird tickets for the event are on sale now, costing £175 (+VAT), and include lunch, the conference and a post-event drinks reception at Kimpton Fitzroy. All Luxpo attendees and sponsors benefit from a complimentary place at the TTG Luxury Travel Summit.
“We’re so happy to be able to offer agents attending Luxpo the chance of a free ticket to attend this conference, so they can join the wider community, be inspired and mingle with plenty of people in the sector,” Hutchinson added. “We look forward to hosting a great day for all.”
All delegates who attend the summit will also receive a free Stylus trends report, packed with insight into customer attitudes and trends to help shape business change.
