Explora Journeys, the new luxury brand of MSC Group, has announced six new appointments in global and regional roles across Europe, the Americas and the UK.
Ex-Crystal Cruises vice-president of international sales Helen Beck will become head of global sales excellence, and will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the brand’s processes and resources.
Prior to her role at Crystal, Beck spent 16 years with Royal Caribbean Group as regional director of international representatives, EMEA.
Four new heads of sales will support the development of and execute the commercial sales strategy for their local markets.
Ex-The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection key sales lead Saul Fonseca will head up US East and the Americas, while former North American sales lead for Seabourn Cruises Aimee Price will lead US West and Canada.
Priti Mehta, ex-senior sales director for UK and Ireland for Oceania Cruises, will become head of sales for UK and Ireland, effective 13 December.
Ex-Holland America Line sales lead Francisco Sanchez will take up the head of sales role for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, and Leyre Torres Campo will become business relationships lead for southern Europe.
Michael Ungerer, chief executive of Explora Journeys, said the brand has assembled a "fantastic, diverse team of enthusiastic, passionate and highly experienced professionals" in a bid to further strengthen its relationship with its agent partners.
