Fairmont will open its first hotel in Japan in 2025 with a new build in the capital.
The Accor brand will unveil Fairmont Tokyo, with 219 rooms, in a development that overlooks Tokyo Bay. The location is said to be an 18-minute drive from Haneda airport and close to Hamamatsucho Railway Station.
The hotel, on the upper floors of a new development, will offer a range of suites, three restaurants and bars, a spa, fitness centre, swimming pool, meeting rooms, banquet facilities and chapel.
“We are excited to welcome Fairmont Tokyo into our portfolio of grand hotels, providing a stunning backdrop where glamour meets culture and where guests and locals will come together to make memories,” said Garth Simmons, chief executive officer, Accor Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea.
“Like all Fairmont properties around the world, the hotel is set to become the epicenter of Tokyo’s social scene and will bring a new level of personalised service and thoughtful luxury to the city.”
