Former Abercrombie & Kent executive Kerry Golds is to join a luxury concierge service to head its travel division.
Golds will move to Ten Lifestyle Group in the new role of chief executive of Ten Luxury Travel on 15 January. She was previously A&K’s chief tour operating officer for the UK, Europe, USA and Australia, responsible for the growth and operations of global tour operating.
Ten Lifestyle said her appointment followed a “data-led decision to invest into luxury travel as a valuable, core element in the group’s service offering”. The Ten Lifestyle brand spans travel, lifestyle, dining, entertainment and luxury retail.
“Ten aims to grow revenues from these services delivered to its large and growing wealthy and affluent membership base in the UK and globally,” it said.
Alex Cheatle, Ten Lifestyle Group chief executive, added: “Kerry brings a formidable leadership track record in managing the highest quality travel services in the world.
"Her experience in delivering solutions for high net worth consumers will complement Ten’s already outstanding offering and help drive growth and service quality.”
Golds said: “I am delighted to be joining Ten, the indisputable leader in the lifestyle and concierge field.
"The opportunity to expand Ten’s travel offering to their client base as they celebrate their 25-year anniversary is incredibly exciting. I relish the challenge ahead and look forward to helping Ten deliver truly exceptional experiences to their members.”
