With just weeks to go, preparations for the biggest TTG Luxury Travel Awards to date are in full swing.
Taking place at The Biltmore Mayfair in London on 24 February, the event will see guests from across the luxury sector gather to celebrate finalists and network with friends and peers.
Guests will be able to enjoy the music of The Travelling Hands, an acoustic roaming band who have played everywhere from Kensington Palace to the beaches of Bali, and many of London’s finest hotels.
The London-based group was formed in 2011 and their carefully curated setlists have seen them through more than a decade of performances at prestigious events worldwide, for clients including Cartier, Rolls-Royce, Google, Facebook, Adobe, Hublot, Samsung, Royal Ascot, Formula 1 and Jaguar.
“Having seen The Travelling Hands in action before, it was a simple decision to enlist their talents for our awards too,” said April Hutchinson, editor of TTG Luxury. “Via acoustic guitars, saxophone, double bass, percussion and vocal harmonies, they deliver a musical voyage of engaging, immersive and spontaneous fun with a distinctive British style and have entertained global brands, celebrities and private clients worldwide – we can’t wait for our guests to enjoy their style too.”
Those attending the awards – now heading towards their fifth outing – will also be able to help raise money for a very special project in Kenya via Just a Drop, with an on-the-day raffle with prizes from Hilton Luxury Brands and Silversea helping to spur on donations.
The awards will see winners recognised in 18 categories, all revealed on the day at the popular Friday afternoon event.
“This event is now a firm favourite in the luxury travel calendar and with an amazing charity partner, fabulous entertainment, plus the hospitality of The Biltmore and all our incredible finalists and winners, it’s set to be a day to remember,” added Hutchinson.
