Global Travel Collection announces UK tour to meet new agents

Agents are being invited to make appointments to find out how they can work with Global Travel Collection UK (GTC UK).

GTC UK already has a network of more than 100 independent advisors across the UK, and the team will be visiting five cities to speak with corporate, entertainment and leisure agents. 

Agents can arrange private appointments to hear about the benefits of joining the business, along with the services the TMC can offer. They will have the opportunity to meet with advisor success managers who recently joined the company to bolster business support for independent advisors. 

On the tour will be (pictured above, clockwise from top left) advisor success managers Colin Geddes and Perry Critchell; senior manager revenue development Andy Hampshaw; and director of account management Francesca Mendola.

Appointments will take place in the following cities: 

• Manchester, Tuesday 20 June, at Dakota
• London, Tuesday 27 June and Wednesday 28 June, at Hotel Amano 
• Brighton, Thursday 29 June, at the Brighton Harbour Hotel & Spa
• Edinburgh, Thursday 4 July, at the Waldorf Astoria
• Bristol, Thursday 6 July, at a venue to be confirmed 

Mendola said: “We are excited to have our team out on the road meeting with new faces. We hope to meet with the best-in-class travel advisors who are either well-established and looking for a home with robust support, or those who are thinking of making the move from employee to business owner.”

She continued: “Having these types of conversations can be overwhelming and life-changing, which is why it is important for our team to be out on the road to meet with advisors in person, rather than just connecting online. We have significantly invested in our people, systems and technology. During these appointments, our teams will be able to demonstrate how we can best support advisors in their journey and nurture an entrepreneurial mindset.”
