Tailormade experiences developed with EON Productions and the 007 film production crew include learning stunts with James Bond’s action double Lee Morrison, gaining unparalleled access to the Bollinger estate and exploring Monaco’s Cote d’Azur onboard a vintage yacht with Octopussy and A View To A Kill actress Carole Ashby.

Black Tomato’s 12-night journey, named ‘The Assignment’ incorporates a selection of Bond experiences in five locations across Europe. It culminates in Venice for an immersive dining finale at the Murano glass factory where Bond and Chang battled in Moonraker.

Itineraries can also be customised from a variety of 007 experiences in the UK, France, Monaco, Italy and Austria, with trips ranging from five nights to any length desired and prices starting from £15,000 per person. The experts involved will, however, depend on availability.

In celebration of the 60-year franchise, 60 limited edition trips are available in total, each including an exclusive Dr. No-inspired attaché case by Globe-Trotter.

In London, clients can stay at the Corinthia hotel and take a privately guided, high-speed chase down the Thames in the original Superhawk 34 from The World Is Not Enough, with a drone capturing the action.

Stunt training with Morrison follows, before a sartorial tour of Burlington Arcade and Jermyn Street.

At Italy’s Lake Como, water-skiing and a private seaplane await, before private visits to Villa La Gaeta and Villa de Balbianello, both featured in Casino Royale and the culminating Moonraker-themed dinner on Murano.

In Austria, clients can ascend by snow-groomer before the crowds on a fresh piste, then, at the summit of Gaislachkogl, have a private, behind-the-scenes tour of the high-tech 007 Elements exhibition. On request, this can be arranged with Oscar-winning effects creator Chris Corbould OBE who has worked on 15 of the franchise’s films.

Labour of Love

“The narratives of so many Bond films are enhanced by the distinct feel of iconic destinations, so recreating these stories for a first-person travel experience has been a true delight and honour,” said Tom Marchant, co-founder of Black Tomato.

“We’re thrilled to be at the forefront of creating something bespoke that can be enjoyed in a variety of ways, so clients can experience real immersion into Bond’s world on their terms.”

Location manager Ali James added: “It’s a joy to see 007’s travels come to life with such authenticity, having undergone a nostalgic trip into the archives.

“It’s been a labour of love not only working with Black Tomato to determine the locations and refine the experiences and locations, but also involving many of EON’s iconic partners, and myriad people that have worked on the films – from producers to location scouts and front of screen talent.

“[These are] truly extraordinary experiences, some of which are only accessible with these trips.”
