The Lux Collective has revealed plans for its new property in Mauritius, which will become the flagship for the Lux Resorts & Hotels brand.
Lux Grand Baie Resort & Residences is due to open on the Indian Ocean island in summer 2021 when it will offer 86 suites and eight two-bedroom villas, plus the three-bedroom Beachfront Lux Villa.
There will also be 24 two-bedroom residences connected by a bridge to the main resort.
London-based designer Kelly Hoppen has created the resort’s interiors, while facilities will include the Beach Rouge beach club, Ai Kisu Japanese restaurant and Cafe Lux.
The resort will also offer an adults-only rooftop area offering views across the Indian Ocean, as well as an infinity pool, cabanas, restaurant and open-air wellness space. A resident DJ will also perform as night falls.
Lux Me Wellbeing and Lux Me Fitness will offer a range of spa treatments and fitness classes overseen by a wellness concierge. Other facilities include a kids’ club for guests aged three to 11, and Studio 17 for older children.
