Suite DNA’s members’ club will offer its luxury advisors a number of benefits, including exclusive access to renowned hotels and administrative support.
A luxury travel agency has set up a new VIP division for advisors, after noticing a “gap in the market” for a smaller collection of elite agents.
Launched by Suite DNA, the Suite Club will provide its 28 members a number of benefits to help them build their individual businesses.
Successful candidates will have access to an “unmatched network” of travel experts and insider knowledge, along with regular socials, invitation-only events and fam trips. Administrative support on bookings, commissioning and invoicing, will also be available.
Another benefit will be exclusive access to renowned luxury properties through Suite DNA’s preferred partnership schemes with brands like Mandarin Oriental and Rosewood Hotels.
Crucially, Suite Club agents will continue to be independent contractors and maintain full control over their company.
“We believe in quality over quantity,” Katy McCann, founder of Suite DNA, tells TTG Luxury. “We’re in no rush - it’s about finding the right people. We want to make sure that each member feels proud of being part of the exclusive network.”
Criteria for membership is strict; applicants must have expert knowledge in their field, demonstrate a track record of delivering bookings and meet certain revenue numbers. There is also a referral process which requires a reference by two reputable people in the industry.
The advisors’ voices will be highly valued in the club, which will operate as a democratic group rather than a hierarchical structure.
“We aim to be led by our members and we want to adapt it to their needs,” McCann explains, before adding that the small size of the club allows for a more personalised experience.
“You’re not just one of 500 - you’re one of very few. This allows us to make the club more tailormade to the advisors.”
McCann established Suite DNA in 2013. As part of the founding team of Mr and Mrs Smith, McCann had been responsible for curating its collection, visiting more than 2,000 luxury properties worldwide and developing connections with suppliers all over the world.
Saffray joined Suite DNA in 2016, formerly director of sales and marketing at Maybourne Hotels, Dorchester Collection and Bulgari Hotel in London, after accumulating a wealth of industry contacts and expert knowledge over the course of her career.
