Anantara is offering guests the chance to spend the night with elephants in their natural habitat.
Transparent bubble rooms in the Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp and Resort are fully air-conditioned, perched on raised wooden decks and have 22 square metres of floor space.
This includes a 4.5-diameter bedroom with a king-size bed and concealed en-suite bathroom.
Guests can use the bubbles – which are made high-tech polyester fabric and Precontraint Serge Ferrari technology – to watch the elephants in their natural habitat or stargaze.
The Jungle Bubble experience can be bought as an add-on to the camp and resort in Thailand, which is on a hill overlooking the Mekong and Ruak rivers.
Rates start at 17,700 baht a night for two people, which includes a dinner basket, fully stocked mini bar and 24-hour in-room dining service.
