Hotel group Michel Reybier Hospitality is taking over the running of boutique property L’oscar London in the centre of the UK capital.
The 39-room hotel, located in the Bloomsbury area close to the British Museum, has undergone a recent redesign and will be Michel Reybier Hospitality’s first property outside France and Switzerland.
Part of the historic property was once a Baptist church and the hotel, which first opened in 2018, is named after writer Oscar Wilde. The area has deep connections with literature through the so-called Bloomsbury Set of authors, such as Virginia Woolf and EM Forster.
L’oscar London also features a bar in the former chapel and a restaurant, as well as an oak-lined library and The Committee Room which is available for small events.
