Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh has unveiled a major expansion which has doubled the size of the original property.
The hotel in the Egyptian Red Sea resort has added 89 new rooms and suites as part of the project. The suites range from one to two bedrooms, including large balconies and terraces, while some also feature their own pools.
Another addition is The Palace, a three-bedroom standalone beachfront residence which offers two pools, fitness room, spa treatment room, terrace and gardens.
The resort has also created a new dive centre with a dedicated training pool and classroom allowing guests to hone their scuba skills before tackling the nearby house reef.
Meanwhile, executive chef Sebastiano Spriveri has created four new dining outlets at the Sharm resort, ranging from Asian restaurant Yatai to Zitouni, which offers Lebanese and Arabic cuisine. There is also the Latin American-themed Luna and beach bar Breeze.
Sam Ioannidis, the resort’s general manager, said: “We’re introducing a new era of seaside luxury to what has been one of Egypt’s most loved resorts ever since it opened its doors 20 years ago.
“By doubling the property in size, we’ve created new accommodations, recreation facilities and restaurants while the legendary and exceptional Four Seasons service remains the same.”
Four Seasons has also added nine new indoor and garden venues for weddings and other celebrations, including the beachfront Royal Palm Garden.
