Dogs are welcome to join their owners on the slopes at Severin’s – The Alpine Retreat in Lech, Austria, which provides an array of goodies for four-legged visitors.
The self-catering residence welcomes all dogs, and offers dog beds, food and drink bowls, warm blankets and food prepared to each owner’s specifications.
Dog walkers and dog trainers can be booked to exercise pets during the day if their owners are skiing, or they can join in the fun and enjoy the local hiking trails or try ski touring. Clients are advised to use an appropriate backpack for smaller dogs and a coat and dog shoes for larger dogs.
At Severin’s dogs are welcome in the bar and the sitting room as well as in guests’ suites, however they are not allowed in restaurants. Lech itself is also dog-friendly, and restaurants including Post Jagerstube, Alpele, Klosterle and Murmeli all welcome dogs, alongside the bars and terraces at Aurewlia, Burgvital and Arlberg.
Severin’s – The Alpine Retreat is a 20-minute walk from the centre of Lech. Offering nine suites and a private four-bed residence, it also houses spa facilities including saunas, a steam bath, an infrared cabin and indoor swimming pool.
