Ritz-Carlton has officially launched its new cruise collection with superyacht Evrima making its inaugural voyage from Barcelona after a three-year delay.
Evrima is the first of three luxury custom-built vessels for Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, and the 190-metre-long yacht can accommodate up to 298 passengers in 149 suites costing upwards of £5,000 for a seven-night cruise.
Evrima’s week-long maiden voyage will take in Mediterranean destinations including Palma in Mallorca, Saint-Tropez, Antibes and Nice on the French Riviera.
Depending on the season, Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection also plans to add seven- to 10-night itineraries to the Caribbean, Central America and South America onboard Evrima and its yet-to-be-launched sister yachts.
As well as suites with private terraces and floor-to-ceiling windows, Evrima features unique two-storey loft rooms. All cabins will feature king beds, double vanity bathrooms, luxury linens and signature Ritz-Carlton amenities.
Guests onboard Evrima have access to a curated menu of ESPA spa treatments, a sauna and steam room, watersports from the yacht’s marina while at anchor, an infinity pool, and a fitness studio.
Dining options include destination-inspired dishes at The Evrima Room, sushi bar Talaat Nam and a speciality dining experience at S.E.A. designed by chef Sven Elverfeld, who oversees Ritz-Carlton’s three Michelin-starred restaurant Aqua at its Wolfsburg hotel.
In each destination, guests can choose to join experiences from Ritz-Carlton’s new curated The Shore Collection or utilise the services of the Concierge Ashore to customise their own private tours.
Entertainment onboard includes performances by in-house jazz and classical musicians, discussions led by renowned experts, and partnerships with local arts and music communities. Ritz Kids programming for children aged four to 12 also extends to the new cruises, with a dedicated space onboard Evrima, and a focus on marine conservation.
“The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection is revolutionising the luxury cruising industry, creating an entirely unique category designed for those in search of unmatched getaways, highly curated itineraries, insider access and a level of personalisation previously unseen in the space,” said Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection chief executive Douglas Prothero.
The brand’s other two yachts will be Ilma and Luminara, currently under construction at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in France.
