Sugar Beach resort in Saint Lucia will unveil a series of upgrades when the hotel reopens on 1 November.
The property, part of Viceroy Hotels and Resorts, will debut nine new rooms, as well as upgraded restaurants, a beachside fitness facility and a renovated spa and main pool area.
Sugar Beach closed to guests on 1 June to start work on the renovations ahead of the reopening later this year.
General Manager Mark Sterner said: “We are excited to kickstart this multi-phase renovation journey that will bring a new and elevated luxury guest experience to our already celebrated Sugar Beach property.
“Every aspect of the renovation has been thoughtfully designed to bring the best out of each space and provide a new level of service, privacy and hospitality to our valued guests. Those visiting in November can expect to see Sugar Beach completely revived and like they’ve never experienced before.”
The development includes the building of four one-bedroom beachfront bungalows as well as five one-bedroom cottages higher up the mountain.
Meanwhile, the Rainforest Spa will add a treehouse treatment room on stilts for couples bringing the total to 10, and a new spa partner will also be announced when Sugar Beach reopens.
