Savoy Signature to expand in Madeira with new hotel
Portuguese hotel group Savoy Signature will expand its presence in Funchal with the opening of The Reserve in January 2024.
Clients staying at the 40-key property on Madeira will have access to a dedicated GEPA – The Reserve’s acronym for guest experience personal assistant – who will be available 24 hours a day, as well as tailoring and preparing their stay prior to arrival. Guests are invited to use an exclusive airport lounge when they arrive, and transfers to The Reserve are included.
Accommodation options include deluxe rooms and pool suites with individual terraces and plunge pools, and all rooms offer sea views.
Guests can check in and out at the Jacaranda Club while enjoying a drink, and the venue serves snacks and drinks throughout the day. Above the Jacaranda Club, The Reserve has a rooftop sundeck with an infinity pool and hydromassage pool.
Dining options include Nikkei restaurant, available from Thursday to Monday, serving fresh fish and locally sourced island ingredients.
Guests will be able to use all the facilities at the nearby Savoy Palace, with guaranteed reservations at Savoy Palace’s Laurea Spa and restaurants, when booked a minimum of 24 hours in advance.
Double rooms start from £700 a night.
