Scenic Group reveals doubling in winter sales ahead of ‘biggest-ever’ peaks push

Scenic Luxury Cruises and Tours and sister brand Emerald Cruises have confirmed their sales between October and December 2023 have been double that of the same time last year.

The brands revealed the week of 20 November 2023 to be the strongest sales week of the year, ending on a high with a 2023 one-day record figure on 27 November.  

 

Scenic UK’s managing director, sales and marketing, Nichola Absalom hailed Scenic and Emerald’s trade offering as being in its “strongest ever position as we head into peaks”, confirming that direct agent feedback contributed to an enhanced booking process and “a more streamlined approach to our commercial offers in the market”.

 

Absalom added: “With the arrival of Nick Hughes as director of sales, partnerships and strategic growth in the new year, we are confident of cementing our position as providing UK travel agents with not only an industry-leading sales team, but one that provides the most comprehensive offers, support and training for its valued agent partners.

The figures were revealed as Scenic and Emerald get ready for what they are calling their biggest new year peaks campaign, launching today (19 December) for Scenic and on Thursday (21 December) for Emerald. Agents can take part in an online peaks training webinar session at 9.30am tomorrow (20 December) with sales manager Lewis Quigley.

 

The campaign features discounts of up to 40% off luxury ocean and river cruises, free business class flights and drinks. Alongside dedicated peaks training, agents will have access to marketing support including social media assets.

 

Key focuses for the peaks campaign will be on Scenic Cruises’ ultra-luxury ocean and river cruises including new itineraries to Western Australia’s Kimberly Region on board Scenic Eclipse II and more than 180 sailings on board Emerald Cruises’ Azzurra and Sakara yachts.

Absalom said: “We are all set for growth and ensuring our trade partners benefit from the huge opportunity working with us provides.”

 

“With a six- or five-star product you must provide the most comprehensive support to agents, and we’re committed to doing this for 2024,” she insisted.
