Scott Dunn parent Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) has appointed Sonia Davies and Victoria "Tori" Courtney to its global leisure executive team.
Davies, who has served as Scott Dunn chief executive since 2018 and oversees the brand’s operations in the UK, US and Singapore, joins the executive team just over a year after Scott Dunn’s acquisition by FCTG.
She sits on several advisory boards, including the Marriott Luxury Leisure Advisory Council, and has twice been named among travel and hospitality’s "women to watch" in 2019 and 2022.
Davies said she hoped to provide “a strong voice and perspective” for the group’s northern hemisphere markets, describing them as “some of the most important in leisure and luxury leisure travel".
Courtney, meanwhile, will become FCTG’s global leisure supply leader while also maintaining her current role as the group’s New Zealand managing director.
She will also continue to act as director of The Flight Centre Foundation, as well as director and vice-president of the Travel Agents’ Association of New Zealand.
Davies and Courtney will report into global leisure chief executive James Kavanagh, who said their appointments to the executive team would bolster FCTG’s strategic position in the supply and luxury segments.
"Tori and Sonia bring extensive experience and specialised knowledge to our executive team and will play important roles in shaping the future of our global leisure division,” added Kavanagh.
