The Hoxton, Vienna will feature 196 guest rooms with retro interiors and a Cuban-inspired rooftop bar with a pool.
The Hoxton, Vienna will open its doors on Monday, marking the Austrian debut for Ennismore’s lifestyle brand.
Located in the historic district of Landstrasse, the 1950s marble-clad property will offer 196 guest rooms, speciality dining, two cocktail bars and a rooftop pool.
The retro interiors are inspired by the surrounding neighbourhood, with bold rugs and statement furniture designed by AIME Studio delivering an old-school finish with a modern twist.
Room categories at The Hoxton, Vienna start with the Shoebox, which has a single bed and a walk-in shower designed for solo travellers. The next size is the compact Snug, which offers a Queen Bed for those who want more sleeping space, followed by the Cosy, which emulates its predecessor but promises an extra few cubes of square footage.
Travellers can also enjoy views of the Viennese streets in the Cosy Neighbourhood rooms, or splash out more living space with the Roomy or Biggy rooms.
The Hoxton, Vienna will also have Cayo Coco, a Cuban-inspired rooftop bar with a seasonal swimming pool, as well as a bistro called the Bouvier, where New York-meets-European cuisine will be served against a backdrop of red-panelled walls and vintage decor.
The hotel also features Salon Paradise, a speakeasy bar set in the hotel’s basement. Guests can expect plenty of Prohibition references in this dimly lit lounge, including authentic postcards from the infamous era and leather banquettes beneath low ceilings. There will also be regular entertainment, courtesy of live musicians and the bar’s resident 1920s Hoffmann Konzertklavier piano.
Rates for The Hoxton, Vienna begin at £145 a night.
