The Standard has launched Secret Agent, a rate and perks programme designed for agents to use.
The boutique hospitality brand said the private platform will allow agents to offer exclusive rates and perks for use at any properties across both The Standard and Bunkhouse Group portfolios.
Agents accepted into the programme will also benefit from “competitive commission rates” themselves.
Each member of Secret Agent will also have access to a dedicated “Agent Ally” who will be available 24/7 to assist with bookings.
Also available on Secret Agent will be insider tips on destinations where the hotels are located, and education and insight into travel industry trends.
There will also be access to multiple promotions so agents can tailor offers for clients.
Secret Agent perks might include F&B credits, upgrades and early check-ins/late check-outs upon availability
The Standard said it had created Secret Agent “to better engage and benefit the frontline travel agents across the industry” following the success of Friends with Benefits, its programme offering guests preferred pricing.
Agents who sign up and and make a booking via the Secret Agent platform this month (June) will be entered into a prize draw to win a three-night stay at The Standard, Ibiza and a two-night stay The Standard, London.
Agents can find out more and sign up at secretagent.standardhotels.com
Launched originally in Hollywood, The Standard has properties in locations including New York, Miami, London, Ibiza, the Maldives and Hua Hin.
A hotel in Bangkok will open later this year and hotels in Lisbon, Milan, Melbourne, Singapore, Dublin and Brussels are under development.
