Abercrombie and Kent will expand its agency sales team with two new hires following the departure of trade sales manager, Mark Harris.
A&K said the departure has created an opportunity for the company to expand its sales team to better serve its agent partners, which have grown to exceed pre-pandemic levels.
The company’s trade sales have performed strongly over the course of the last 12 months, thanks to the partnerships with agents and consortia it has forged across the UK.
The firm is now looking to hire two agency sales managers for the south east and south west, working with Richard Hey who covers the Midlands and the north and Jason Kemp who covers the north east, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.
James Coughlan, director of sales, said: "We are extremely grateful for Mark’s contribution to the business, and we wish him well in his future endeavours.
"His departure has given us an opportunity to expand our sales team and continue to deliver on our promise to provide the best possible service and support to our trade agents."
A&K has already begun the recruitment process and is looking for applicants who have a "passion for travel" and are "dedicated to providing exceptional service and support" to its trade channel.
