APT and Travelmarvel is recruiting for two new business development managers.
Brad Bennetts, APT and Travelmarvel head of sales and business development, said the "pivotal roles" would help the business "manage and develop" its growing book of trade partners.
The new recruits will be tasked with driving sales and retail partner activity in the Midlands and the North respectively.
They will team up with Bennetts and fellow BDM Becky Baumbach to oversee trade sales activity with both retail and homeworking agents.
A second phase of trade expansion, said Bennetts, would see the team grow to its "largest-ever size".
“We’re delighted business has rebounded to the point that we can begin recruiting for our sales team,” said Bennetts.
“We need additional support on the road in the Midlands and the North as we continue to aggressively target those key sales areas, and to support our partners in those regions.
"Once we have that team in place, we will then move into our second phase, which will see us grow the APT and Travelmarvel sales team to its largest-ever size.
"Bringing in additional headcount will help us to protect our position as the leading river cruise and touring operator, and to deliver the very best support yet to our agent partners."
Bennetts said it was an exciting time to join APT and Travelmarvel, with APT having recently celebrated its 95th anniversary.
The group has also just unveiled its new Mekong ship, Mekong Serenity; expanded into new destinations such as Egypt, Jordan and Israel; and upped Travelmarvel’s focus in Europe with new river ships and small-ship sailing product.
