Avis to offer two extra spots on fam trip to Crete
Former MemberAvis Budget Group will host two additional travel agents on a fam trip to Crete taking place in aid of TTG’s Sustainable Travel Heroes initiative.
A brand-new Avis booking incentive linked to TTG’s Sustainable Travel Heroes initiative is offering two non-Ambassador travel agents the opportunity to join a fam trip to Crete.
The spots will be offered to all travel agents who make an Avis booking between 20 March and 30 April 2023.
These agents will be entered into a prize draw that will take place on 7 May 2023, with two lucky agents winning a place on a sustainability-focused fam trip to Crete in Greece.
“We are delighted to once again partner with TTG on a sustainability-focused fam trip,” said Jeanette Harper, senior director of international travel and partnerships. “The two Avis incentive winners will be able to go off-the-beaten track with electric Avis vehicles to explore and support communities in lesser-visited parts of Crete.”
In addition and as part of the Avis commitment to give something back, for every incentive entry received, a £5 donation will be made to Abta LifeLine.
The fam trip will take place in June, co-hosted by Intrepid, the Greek National Tourism Organisation and TTG Media. Attendees on the trip will also include eight TTG Sustainable Travel Ambassadors.
The itinerary for this Avis fam trip highlights Crete’s ecotourism offering, including two days to explore off-the-beaten track with Avis electric vehicles. “The trip will focus on enabling agents to really immerse themselves in the destination and to learn how a holiday can be more than the usual tourist attractions with authentic experiences,” said Harper.
To enter the incentive, agents can make a booking via their usual booking platform. Bookings eligible for the prize draw are for reservations made up to and including 30 April, for rentals picked up through to 31 December 2023.
