Celebrity Cruises has announced plans for 32 food and drink experiences to feature onboard its next Edge-class ship, Celebrity Beyond.
The offering will include 15 restaurants, five cafes and 12 bars and lounges.
Amongst the additions is Le Voyage by Daniel Boulud, the line’s global culinary ambassador. It also includes the Sunset Bar, designed by interior designer Nate Berkus, along with Cyprus Restaurant, Rooftop Grill, Cafe al Bacio and Mast Bar.
The line has also announced a partnership with alcohol producer Diageo to offer a collection of bespoke cocktails at World Class Bar.
Le Voyage by Daniel Boulud, which is the chef’s first signature restaurant at sea, will feature "globally-inspired flavours".
The Sunset Bar will include two open-air decks, a u-shaped bar and a pergola covered entrance to create a "casual yet elegant beach vibe".
Celebrity Beyond will depart on her maiden voyage on 27 April, 2022, from Southampton, on a 10-night Western Europe cruise visiting Bordeaux, Lisbon, Seville, Malaga, Palma de Mallorca and Barcelona.
It will then offer a variety of Mediterranean journeys including nine-night Italian Riviera and France itineraries and 10-night Greek Isles itineraries through early October, when the vessel then heads to the Caribbean.
Celebrity Cruises president and chief executive Lisa Lutoff-Perlo said "globally-inspired culinary excellence" is at "the heart of our offering onboard all Celebrity Cruises ships".
"On any holiday, some of your most treasured memories come straight from the dining table you share with friends and family," she added.
"It matters to us that every aspect of our guest’s onboard experience is truly special. We have always put so much attention into our food and drinks, and it has paid off with numerous awards including prestigious recognition from Wine Spectator for setting the standard at sea."
