C&M Travel Recruitment managing director Basia Kolosinska and sales director Duncan Tingle have bought out the recruitment consultancy’s former chair to take full ownership of the business.
Kolosinska and Tingle have purchased the remaining share capital from founder Angus Chisholm, who set up the business in 1998. He will remain with the outfit serving as a non-executive director.
Over the past 26 years, C&M has gone on to become one of the UK’s most established travel recruitment firms, one that estimates it has filled more than 20,000 roles throughout the industry during that time.
Kolosinska and Tingle joined the company as recruitment consultants in 1999 and 2002 respectively. Speaking about the successful buyout, Kolosinska said: "I’m extremely proud of what we have achieved at C&M.
"I have worked with Duncan for more than 22 years and know what an incredible recruiter and sales director he is and can’t wait for the journey ahead with our very talented and loyal team.”
Kolosinska added: “Hard work, commitment and loyalty really do pay off and I hope this shows anyone out there that anything is possible in your careers if you want it enough."
Tingle, meanwhile, described Kolosinska “a key industry figure”. “I’m really excited for the future. We have an amazing working relationship and are both aware of each other’s strengths, which with the fantastic team we have in place, will dovetail perfectly to take C&M forward,” he added.
Chisholm said he believed C&M would "continue to thrive" under the new management team. “This marks an exciting new phase for C&M, and I am confident we will continue to grow and excel," he added.
