Costa Cruises has suspended Costa Deliziosa’s Greek cruising programme, with Greece preparing to return to a state of national lockdown on Saturday (7 November).
Deliziosa, which is currently sailing a series of seven-night itineraries from Trieste calling in Katakolon, Athens, Iraklion and Bari, will be laid up until late December.
All remaining November and December departures have been cancelled, with Costa now planning to return Deliziosa to service on 26 December to sail a new Italian itinerary.
Destinations include Bari, Brindisi and Catania, with Costa planning to add more destinations in the coming weeks.
Guests booked on impacted voyages are being notified of their options.
Dedicated Italy cruises onboard Costa Smeralda continue unaffected under the line’s new Covid protocols.
