EasyJet holidays has expanded its core trade team to six with two experienced hires who together bring nearly 50 years’ industry experience to their new roles with the operator.
Jo Brookman and Dale Marriott have been named the operator’s newest trade distribution managers, which easyJet holidays said would ensure it is now able to "fully service each region within the UK".
Brookman has been in travel for nearly 30 years, including a lengthy spell with Thomas Cook and Freedom Travel Group. She went on to work for Club Med and the Advantage Travel Partnership.
Marriott, meanwhile, joins easyJet holidays from Gold Medal, and brings experience from a career that saw him start out as an overseas customer rep before becoming an agent before later joining Jet2holidays’ trade team.
EasyJet holidays’ team of six is led by head of trade distribution Natasha Marson, and will hit the road in the coming weeks for new TOOT – Team Orange on the road – roadshows in Liverpool (16 April), Manchester (17 April) and Birmingham (18 April).
"I am thrilled with the calibre and knowledge our new trade distribution managers hold," said Marson.
"Their length of service and experience speaks volumes, bolstering our now team of six trade distribution managers to continue to support our agent partners as we look forward to hosting more exciting events with a fully resourced team, alongside offering further trade exclusive incentives.”
