The first TTG Canada Fest will take place online next week, 4-8 December
Agents who attend the free virtual training festival will have the opportunity to win a place on a fam trip to Canada, learn about the destination’s product, and glean tips for selling Canada holidays to their customers.
The fam trip will take place in Vancouver and Whistler in April 2024, encompassing three nights in each destination. Agent attendees will be asked to answer questions during TTG Canada Fest for the chance to win.
The event’s agenda features panel discussions covering trends, market insight and practical advice for building itineraries, as well as masterclasses and virtual fams designed to educate agents on different Canadian holiday experiences.
These include virtual journeys through Quebec, Saskatchewan, Ontario, Banff, Lake Louise and Jasper, as well as masterclasses on wildlife encounters, indigenous experiences and slow travel. There will also be product news updates and training presentations from the event partners.
“We really feel strongly about our travel agent friends and we are on a mission to sprinkle some knowledge your way,” said Adam Hanmer, travel trade manager at Destination Canada.
“TTG Canada Fest is a virtual rendezvous where Team Canada will unite to bring you the lowdown on everything Canada – from the Pacific to the Atlantic and all the way up north – coast to coast to coast.”
He added: “You can transform yourself into a Canadian travel whisperer with insider information to turn those peak bookings into a booking bonanza.”
As well as fam trip places there will also be a Love2shop voucher, goody bags and wine up for grabs.
