Flight Centre UK has opened its first shop in Chester, an interactive hyperstore.
The design of the store on Bridge Street is based on the company’s successful shop in Madison Square, New York, and includes large LCD screens and interactive displays.
It also houses each of Flight Centre’s product ranges as well as its stand-alone brands.
The opening was attended by the Sheriff of Chester, councilor Alex Black, and the Lady’s Sheriff Janet Black.
Alison Zacher, retail managing director at Flight Centre UK, said: “At Flight Centre, we’re constantly striving to improve our store network and this new hyperstore is testament to that.
“Our Chester hyperstore will serve as a hub where customers can experience our travel products and benefit from one-to-one support from our dedicated travel experts.
“The store has been designed in a way that allows us to showcase our specialist businesses to customers and will incorporate new features that create a more exciting retail environment.
“These features will include dedicated product zones, digital signage and various tools that will allow us to assist customers to fine-tune their travel plans.”
