Flight Centre has reopened its Ealing Broadway store for the first time since it was forced to close its doors due to the pandemic.
To mark the occasion, Mayor of the London Borough of Ealing, Mohinder Midha, cut the red ribbon to officially declare the store open for business.
The store is also offering customers who live in Ealing £200 off a holiday booked in-person, which includes flights and a minimum of five-nights’ accommodation.
The store is managed by Chloe Ashton, who has worked for Flight Centre for seven years. Ashton started as a travel consultant before working her way up to manager and now has four full-time members of staff, one of whom is currently undergoing Flight Centre’s Fast Track Graduate apprenticeship programme.
Lucy Clifton, Flight Centre’s general manager, said: "The pandemic was an extremely difficult period for the travel industry and its workers who relied on business and leisure travel.
"The reopening of our store in Ealing is a very important moment for Flight Centre as we begin the journey to reopen a series of stores across London and the south-east."
Adding to the 12 stores Flight Centre opened following the pandemic, Ealing will be joined by the reopening of its Bath location in the coming months.
