Former Affordable Car Hire boss Angela Day has started a new role with start-up luxury travel marketplace GuestBookings.com.
Day was founder and chief executive of Affordable Car Hire before it became a “sad casualty of the pandemic” and went into voluntary liquidation earlier this year.
Now Day, who was also previously a director of the ITT, has announced that she has taken up a new role as EMEA (European, Middle East and Africa) managing director for GuestBookings.com, which is a new membership platform offering luxury travel, goods and experiences to “high-value” customers.
In an update on LinkedIn, Day said she was “excited” to join GuestBookings.com at the “start of a business with amazing potential”.
GuestBookings.com features a marketplace allowing its business partners and affiliates to reach “closed user groups” of wealthy consumers.
“Customer loyalty is built by offering the best in market rates, plus exceptional added value, through innovative use of our partnership margins,” explained Day.
