Trade-only tour operator Gold Medal has recruited two trade partnership executives, and hopes to hire one more to cover the east of England.
Samantha Lynch and Rhiannon Simpson both joined dnata’s flagship B2B brand this month, taking up the newly created roles. Lynch is working with agents in southwest England and south Wales, while Simpson is supporting agents in the Midlands.
Gold Medal’s trade partnerships director Karen Fletcher said the pair had “very bright futures in travel”. “At Gold Medal, we are proud to be investing in the next generation of travel professionals – supporting them, teaching them and believing in them," she added.
Lynch, who previously worked for Great Little Breaks, said: “I have always admired the brand’s commitment to providing exceptional travel experiences and I am looking forward to all the new experiences and doors this role will open for me in the south-west and south Wales region.”
Simpson added: “Gold Medal and the specialist brands have so much to offer agents and I am excited to be able to support in the delivery of these messages, offers, incentives and knowledge. I can’t wait to learn from the trade partnership managers and enjoy all the new experiences coming my way."
Gold Medal is still recruiting to fill the final trade partnership executive vacancy.
“These new positions are a great opportunity for anyone with retail travel industry experience looking to move into a field-based role," it said.
“The successful candidate will work closely with Gold Medal’s trade partnership managers.”
