Greece is set to drop all Covid-19 restrictions for fully vaccinated travellers from Sunday (1 May).
The decision was made following a meeting of the country’s Ministry of Health and committee of experts on Thursday (28 April).
In a statement, the Greek government said it was accepting the recommendation for the suspension of the country’s Covid pass from 1 May, which means that international visitors will no longer have to show an EU Digital Covid Certificate, or its UK equivalent, at the border.
Greece’s relaxation of restrictions also means that vaccination certificates will not be required for entry into indoor spaces, such as bars and restaurants, from 1 May. These venues can also return to 100% capacity.
