Holiday Taxis trade chief heads to Suntransfers

Sales director Baker has been appointed Suntransfers’ new global partnerships director.

Baker brings 20 years’ travel sector experience to the role, which includes stints at Hotels4U, Medhotels and Youtravel.

“Andy has been a key figure in the dynamic packaging arena,” said Barcelona-based Suntransfers, which was founded in 2008 and claims to have grown to become “one of the largest B2C airport transfer providers in Europe”.

Baker will assume the role in November reporting to Suntransfers managing director Nathan Timmins.

“We’re absolutely delighted to have Andy joining us to lead the B2B team on this exciting journey,” said Timmins.

“We’ve successfully built our business based on great value and unrivalled customer service over the last 11 years, and his appointment will be the first of many as we look to expand products and services to help us widen our distribution chain.

“We’ve got a number of developments planned over the coming months that will enable us to be best placed to become the leading independent supplier to the trade.”
