Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have released an expanded Iceland programme for winter 2023/24 including the launching of flights from Newcastle.
The expanded programme will operate to Iceland from nine UK airports with around 135 departures and more than 27,000 seats on sale – a capacity increase of 24% from winter 2022/23.
Scheduled flights will operate from Manchester, Leeds Bradford and Birmingham, alongside Belfast International, Bristol, Edinburgh, East Midlands and Glasgow.
Two weekly services on Wednesdays and Sundays will run from Leeds Bradford and Newcastle from 27 September to 2 November, and from the end of March to 21 April 2024.
Iceland services from Birmingham and Manchester will operate with two weekly flights (Mondays and Thursdays) from late-September to April.
Customers can choose from 21 three- or four-night Iceland trips from Belfast International, Bristol, Edinburgh, East Midlands and Glasgow.
Seven city break options will run in November and 14 between February and March.
Steve Heapy, chief executive of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said the Iceland programme had been expanded “on the back of such strong demand”.
“With a fantastic programme of scheduled services and once-in-a-lifetime trips on sale, we are giving customers and independent travel agents more choice and flexibility and we know this programme will be as popular as previous Iceland programmes,” he said.
